The project on reconstruction of the Zhetybay – Zhanaozen – Kenderli (Kazakhstan) – Turkmenistan border (Turkmenbashi) highway will be completed in 2019, Trend reports referring to the press service of Kazakhstan’s Kazautozhol company.
About 800 people are employed at the facility, and 565 pieces of equipment are being utilized.
The road will be equipped in accordance with the requirements of traffic safety: a barrier will be installed along the axis of the route, and road signs and markings will be updated.
This project will create cross-border trade zones and increase trade between neighboring countries.
