Kazakhstan increases trade with non-EAEU countries by nearly 30%

The value of Kazakhstan’s trade turnover with countries which are not members of Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) amounted to $6.606 billion during June 2019, which is 0.9 percent more compared to June 2018, Trend reports with reference to the data of Eurasian Economic Commission.

Thus, during June 2019, the value of goods import to Kazakhstan amounted to $2.096 billion, which is 29.1 percent more compared to June 2018, whereas the value of export from Kazakhstan equaled $4.510 billion, which is 8.5 percent less than in June 2018.

Furthermore, the value of trade between Kazakhstan and non-members of EAEU stood at $36.068 billion during January-June 2019, which is 3.3 percent more compared to the corresponding period of 2018.

As stated in the report, the value of Kazakh import amounted to $10.401 billion during the reporting period, whereas some $25.668 billion accounted for export.

In June this year, total value of EAEU countries' trade with non-EAEU countries amounted to $57.9 billion, including $36 billion worth of export and $21.9 billion worth of import.

In turn, the value of EAEU trade with non-EAEU countries amounted to $351.295 billion during January-June 2019, including $225.178 billion worth of export and $126.117 billion worth of import.
