Belarusian machinery assembling to be launched in Kazakhstan

The Belarusian mechanical engineering company Amkodor will open a new vehicle assembly plant in Kazakhstan’s Kostanay city, Trend reports with reference to the press office of the company.

The corresponding agreement has been signed during a visit of Head of Amkodor's Foreign Economic Activities Department Leonid Pinchuk to Kazakhstan.

“Amkodor intends to set up a plant to assemble excavators, backhoe-loaders, bulldozers, and other machines in Kostanay,” the report said.

“The agreement provides for using Russian capital (Kompozit Group Holding) and Belarusian technologies (Amkodor) and providing additional support to local enterprises in the industrial zone in Kostanay Oblast. The project has also been approved by the prime minister of Kazakhstan,” the statement said.

Belarusian AMKODOR holding includes 30 legal entities, including a managing company consisting of three factories and a representative office in Moscow. Today the model range of the AMKODOR holding products includes over 120 models and modifications of machines popular in many countries around the world.
