Number of licenses for establishing industrial enterprises increases in Iran

The licenses for the establishment of industrial enterprises in Iran increased by 24.1 percent during four months (March 21 - July 22) of this Iranian year (started on March 21, 2019) compared to the same period of last Iranian year, according to the statistics of the Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.
According to the statistics, 8,355 licenses were issued during the reporting period, Trend reports referring to IRNA.
Some 970.2 trillion rials (about $23.1 billion) are expected to be invested in the licensed projects, which is 26.3 percent more compared to the same period of last Iranian year.
Some 200,792 people are expected to be employed after the establishment of these enterprises.
Moreover, 1,910 licenses were issued for the operation of industrial enterprises during four months of this Iranian year, which is 16.4 percent more compared to the same period of last Iranian year.
Some 31,029 people are expected to be employed in the enterprises which will be commissioned upon the issued licenses, which is 3.3 percent more compared to the same period of last Iranian year.
