A document signing ceremony attended by the official delegations was held at the end of the meeting held between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong, Trend reports referring to the Turkmen government.
An agreement between the governments of the two countries on the elimination of double taxation on income tax and on the prevention of tax evasion is aimed at expanding trade and economic relations.
Another agreement was signed between the two countries’ foreign ministries on the mutual removal of visa requirements for diplomats, employees and holders of official passports.
A memorandum of understanding was signed on cooperation between the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Home Affairs of Singapore.
The package of bilateral documents aimed at enhancing multifaceted partnerships also includes previously concluded agreements and memorandums signed following a joint business forum held in Singapore on August 26.
