Iran’s Khorasan Steel Complex Company has exported products worth $50 million over five months (March 21 - August 22) of this Iranian year (March 21 - August 22), said the company’s executive director Hossein Ahmadi-Soleymani at a press conference, Trend reports citing ILNA.
He said that this shows a 120 percent increase compared to last Iranian year (March 21, 2018 - March 21, 2019). “This company exported 170,900 tons of products last year,” he added.
He noted that the company increased its rolled steel production by 20 percent to 270,000 tons, steel production by 15 percent to 464,000 tons, sponge iron production by 10 percent to 580,000 tons, and steel granules production by 80 percent to 465,000 tons.
The company’s steel ingots were exported to Indonesia, the UAE, Ghana, India, while rebars were exported to Iraq and Turkmenistan, he said.
