In January-July 2019, the volume of goods and services produced in Baku amounted to 23.2 billion manats, which is 16.5 percent more compared to January-June 2019, Trend reports referring to the report of the Statistics Office in Baku.
Mining industry accounted for 80.9 percent of the industrial production, the processing sector accounted for 17.1 percent, while the electricity production and the waste treatment-processing sector accounted for 1.4 percent and 0.6 percent, respectively.
The share of the private sector in industry amounted to 83.9 percent.
The share of the industrial production in the total production amounted to 89.1 percent, while the share of industrial services equaled to 10.9 percent.
Most of the manufactured goods were shipped to consumers, taking into account the reserves created in previous periods. In the warehouses of industrial enterprises, as of Aug. 1, 2019, stocks of finished products amounted to 233.6 million manats.
According to statistics, the warehouses of industrial enterprises have other products in the amount of 60.5 million manats, purchased from other enterprises and intended for sale.
