AzGranata, an Azerbaijani producer of wine and vodka, is expanding the export geography of its products, Tural Hajiyev, director of the export supply department of the company, told Trend.
He said that the African market has become a new market for the sale of alcoholic beverages.
“Since the beginning of this year, we have delivered alcohol to Ghana in the amount of 22-23 tons,” he noted. “In the near future, we plan to send another cargo of products to this country, as we have received a new order from our partners in Africa for $50,000. We intend to establish stable deliveries to Africa, given the great demand for our products in this direction.”
He added that other states of West Africa also became interested in AzGranata products.
Built in 2011, the AzGranata factory covers an area of 12.5 hectares. It is one of the biggest producers of alcoholic beverages in the South Caucasus region.
Along with alcoholic beverages, the company produces fruit juices, concentrates and compotes, which are sold both domestically and abroad.
