Azerbaijan’s Elektrogas LLC eyes to expand export geography of combi heating systems

The combi heating system production plant, a joint Azerbaijani-Chinese venture owned by Azerbaijan’s Elektrogas LLC, plans to start exporting its products in the medium term, Director of Elektrogas LLC Elnur Jamilli told Trend.

He said that at the first stage, export of the plant’s products is planned to the Russian market.

“Negotiations in this direction have already begun, exports to Russia are expected in September this year,” he noted. “The markets of Central Asian countries are considered the next export direction. In particular, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are designated as potential export destinations. By the end of this year, we plan to supply products on these two routes. In the near future we will begin negotiations with partners in the countries of Central Asia.”

He added that the plant’s products will be exported to foreign markets under the brand “Made in Azerbaijan”.

“The plant produces six varieties of combi heating systems, three of which are intended for export by the end of this year,” he said.

Local and Chinese investments in the amount of two million manats have been spent to establish the plant for the production of combi heating systems.

The plant plans to increase the amount of investments up to 11 million manats in the future.
