Azerbaijan’s Ganja Aluminum Plant plans to begin modernization of cold and hot rolled machines for the production of aluminum products in the medium term, the enterprise told Trend.
According to the source, this mechanism is necessary to ensure a long production process in accordance with modern quality standards.
"Foreign partners are expected to participate in the modernization process, including China’s China Nonferrous Metal Prossesing Technolocy Co.Ltd (CNPT) and Germany’s AXENBACH. The production process will comply with international ASTM and EN standards," said the enterprise's source.
It was also noted that the company plans to increase production volumes to 50,000 tons of primary aluminum per year.
The aluminum plant is currently operating at full capacity, producing primary and final aluminum products, as well as semi-finished products in the form of aluminum sheets.
