Azerbaijani company eyes to export apple chips to neighbouring country

Azerbaijani company Crispa Snacks, producing apple chips, intends to export the products to the neighbouring Georgia, the company told Trend.

"The negotiations on the export of products with partners in Georgia are under completion,” the company said. “The delivery details are being discussed. The preliminary export volumes are planned to reach 8-10 tons of products. French varieties of green and red apples, which are grown in Azerbaijan’s Gusar district, are used in production.”

“Apple chips are made from Royal Gala and Granny Smith varieties of apples that do not contain GMOs,” the company said. “Three fresh fruits are used for the production of one package. One package costs 1.5-1.8 manats.”

The company plans to export the products to neighbouring countries in the near future.

Crispa Snacks has been operating in the market since 2018.
