Export value via customs in Iran’s Bazargan province grows

During the five months (March 21 - August 22) of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), the value of exports via customs in Iran’s Bazargan prince increased by 245 percent compared to the same period last year, said Director of Bazargan Customs Office Sadeq Namdar, Trend reports via IRNA.

He said that agriculture, petrochemical, stones and metal products were mainly exported to different countries during this period.

He added that during the five months, the imported products increased by 66 percent in terms of value.

“During this period, industrial equipment, MDF (medium-density fiberboards), bananas, paints, various fabrics worth a total of $277.7 million were imported via the Bazargan customs,” he said.

He added that imports increased by 72 percent in terms of weight during the reporting period.

Namdar said that during the five months, transited products have dropped by 35 percent in value terms, while increased by 10 percent in terms of weight.

He didn’t reveal the value and weight of the transited products.
