Products worth over $20M exported from Iran’s Poldasht district

Businessmen of the Poldasht district of Iran’s West Azerbaijan province exported products worth more than $22.5 million in the five months (March 21-August 22) of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), said Hadi Baghernejad, director of the industry, mine and trade department of the Poldasht district, Trend reports via IRNA.

He said that various construction materials, agriculture products, petrochemicals and rubber products are the main export products.

He added that 400 businessmen exported products via Sari Su border market in Maku district, Sanam Bolaghi border market in Poldasht district and Tamarchin border market in Piranshahr district.

“These businessmen imported goods worth $20.6 million during the reporting period,” he said.

The import products mainly consisted of elevator spare parts, door and window equipment, various threads, paper, steel rods, various fabrics, raw materials for textile industry, etc.
