Chinese, Uzbek companies launch joint production of TVs

Uzbek company Artel and Chinese Skyworth have begun joint production of TVs in Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing Uzbek media.

The cooperation was initiated by Uzeltexsanoat.

The new Artel TVs, made with using Skyworth technology, will have the characteristics of premium TVs, but at the same time they will be offered at a much more affordable price.

In addition, Artel has partnered with Google. Thanks to this cooperation, the company can install on its TVs the latest operating system Android TV 9.0. Until the end of 2019, the Uzbek company plans to transfer all models of Smart TVs to the new operating system.

New TVs are made taking into account all the requirements of even the most modern consumers.

Artel is Central Asia's largest home appliance and electronics company. The company's products are widely known not only in the local market, but also in the CIS countries. Artel factories are equipped with modern high-quality production equipment; some practically have no analogues in the world. The company collaborates with one of the most famous electronics manufacturers in the world - Samsung.
