Iran's average monthly exports to South Korea reaches almost $300M

In the first seven months of 2019, Iran's average monthly exports to South Korea amounted to $296 million in monetary terms, Trend reports referring to Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines & Agriculture.

According to the chamber's report, Iran's exports to South Korea started to increase in early 2019.

In March 2019, Iran exported goods worth $825 million to South Korea.

The exports decreased by 11 percent in June, compared to the previous month, while the decrease was 99.9 percent in May, reads the report.

However, in July, Iran's exports to South Korea increased by about two times compared to the previous month and reached $1.7 million. Though, this number indicates 99 percent decrease compared to the same period of the last year, the reports said.

In the first seven months of 2019, Iran supplied 0.7 percent of South Korea's imports.
