Amount of transactions on Uzbek Commodity Exchange up by 75%

The deals concluded on the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) for the period from September 9 to 15, 2019, amounted to 995.9 billion soums which is 75 percent more than the previous week, Trend reports citing UZEX.

The total amount of transactions involving small businesses and private entrepreneurship amounted to 411.1 billion soums, with an increase of 43 percent.

The volume of exchange trading on the platform increased from 478.1 to 894.6 billion soums.

At the foreign exchange trading platform, 1,500 tons of polyethylene were exported for the amount of $ 1.6 million.

The volume of exhibition and fair trade amounted to 29.9 billion soums, with an increase of 30.8 percent. The amount of goods purchased by small businesses amounted to 5.4 billion soums, or 18.1 percent of the total amount of transactions.

Last week, transactions for 67.3 billion soums were concluded through a special information portal on public procurement - xarid.uz.

The total amount of savings from budgetary and corporate customers exceeded 13.4 billion soums.

During the period under review, 687 car license plates were sold through an online auction.

The cumulative amount of sold state license plates was about 4.1 billion soums.

As a result of competitive bidding, 16.7 percent of deals were made on premium class license plates, 42.4 percent of deals on category 2 and 40.9 percent on category 3 of license plates.
