Foreigners to invest over $200M to Kazakhstan's construction sector

Serbian investors are to allocate some 80 billion tenge (approximately $206.424 million) for the development of construction sector in Kazakhstan’s capital Nur-Sultan city, Trend reports with reference to the press office of the city’s akimat (administrative center).

This became known during the meeting between the Head of the city Altay Kulginov, Ambassador of Serbia in Kazakhstan Vladan Matić and the Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Serbia Milanka Karić, during which the issues of construction of multi-unit apartment complex were discussed.

Kulginov noted that all conditions of favorable investment climate are being created in the city.

Thus, according to the report of Moody’s Investors Service rating agency, the credit rating of Nur-Sultan has been changed from Stable to Positive.

This assessment includes the investments rating of the city.
