Products worth over $1B exported from Iran’s Kermanshah province

During the six months (March 21 - September 22) of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), goods worth $1.05 billion were exported from customs and border markets in Iran’s Kermanshah province, Director General of Kermanshah Customs Administration Khalil Heidari said, Trend reports citing IRNA.

He said that the weight of exported goods reached 2.46 million tons.

He added that product exports decreased by 25 percent in value and by 13 percent in weight compared to the same period last year.

“Meanwhile, 1.14 million tons of goods worth $483.5 million were exported by other Iranian customs from Kermanshah province during this period,” he said. “Product exports decreased by one percent in terms of weight and by 34 percent in terms of in value compared to the same period last year.”

The exported products mainly included tomatoes, household items, iron or steel mills, dairy products, vegetables and ceramics, he noted.

He added that the products were exported to 25 countries.

Iran’s Kermanshah province has six customs and border markets. About half of Iran’s non-oil products are exported to Iraq through this province.
