Export of goods through customs services of Iran’s Bushehr province up

The export of goods through the customs services of Iran’s southern Bushehr province increased by 19 percent in the first six months (from March 21 to September 22) of this Iranian year (beginning on March 21, 2019) compared to the first six months of last Iranian year, Behruz Garabeygi, inspector of customs service of the province and director general of Bushehr customs service, said.

The inspector noted that 13.2 million tons worth $4.43 billion including gas condensate were exported through the provincial customs services, Trend reports referring to IRNA.

Some 12.3 million tons of products worth $3.98 billion excluding gas condensate were exported through the provincial customs services in the first six months of this Iranian year, Garabeygi added.

Among the products exported through Bushehr customs services were petrochemicals, gas condensate, mining materials, seafood, greens and vegetables, Garabeygi said.

The inspector noted that the products were exported to China, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Qatar, Brazil, Iraq, Pakistan and Turkey.

Garabeygi said that in the first six months of this Iranian year, 222,000 tons worth $532 million were imported to Iran through Bushehr customs service.

Among the main imported products were butter, tires, black tea, bananas, car parts, equipment and spare parts, the inspector said.

He added that the products were imported from China, UAE, New Zealand, India, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Italy, Taiwan and France.
