Uzbek Commodity Exchange publishes trading data for Oct 7-13

The deals concluded on the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) for the period from 7 to 13 Oct., 2019, amounted to $85.4 million, which is 19.6 percent more than the previous week’s indicator, Trend reports with reference to UZEX.
The total amount of transactions involving small businesses and private enterprises amounted to $36.6 million, with an increase of 11.3 percent.
The volume of exchange trading on the platform increased from $60.5 million to $76.3 million.
At the foreign exchange trading platform, goods worth $2 million were sold, which is 10.3 percent more than a week earlier.
In the export structure, the share of polyethylene was 83 percent, liquefied gas - 13 percent and the share of other products was less than 1 percent.
The volume of exhibition and fair trade compared to the previous week almost doubled, and amounted to $3.19 million.
The amount of goods purchased by small businesses amounted to $550,703, or 17.2 percent of the total amount of transactions.
Last week, transactions worth $5.6 million were concluded through xarid.uz, a special information portal on public procurement.
The total amount of savings from budgetary and corporate customers exceeded $1.2 million.
During the period under review, 641 car license plates were sold through an online auction. The cumulative amount of sold state license plates was about $307,123.
As a result of competitive bidding, 20.9 percent of deals were made on premium class license plates, 50.9 percent of deals on category 2 and 28.2 percent on category 3 of license plates.
