By Nargiz Sadikhova - Trend:
The value of investments attracted in North Kazakhstan region amounted to 152 billion tenge out of the 240 billion tenge planned for 2019, Trend reports with reference to the press office of regional akimat.
According to the Head of the region Kumar Aksakalov, the amount of 240 billion tenge accounts for the nine-percent growth compared to the target set in the beginning of the year, but the actual growth must be larger.
“Last week we have established a special economic zone in the region, which for sure will bring a result. It is multifunctional and it offers a number of preferences, especially for those who operate with an intention of exporting goods. The interest from business representatives can already be seen,” Aksakalov said.
Manwhile, slow growth rate is observed in region’s construction sector.
“The value of construction work in the region amounted to 57.9 billion tenge during the reporting period, which is 98.2 percent compared to the same period of last year. Some areas disrupt the work, and this is unacceptable,” he said.
