Total value of Kazakhstan's trade turnover exceeds $60B

Value of Kazakhstan’s trade turnover amounted to $62.103 billion during first eight months of 2019, which is 1.8 percent more than during the same period of last year, Trend reports with reference to Eurasian Economic Commission.

This sum includes export worth $37.559 billion, which is 4.5 percent less than during the same period of last year and import worth $24.543 billion, which is 13.2 percent more than during the same period of 2018.

Thus, value of Kazakhstan trade turnover with Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries amounted to $13.259 billion, which is 0.3 percent more than during the same period of last year.

Kazakh export to other EAEU countries amounted to $3.779 billion (decrease of 3.1 percent), whereas Kazakh import equaled $9.279 billion (increase of 1.7 percent).

In its turn, value of Kazakh trade turnover with non-EAEU countries equaled $48.843 billion, which also is 2.2 percent more than during the same period of last year.

The above includes Kazakh export worth $33.579 billion, which is 4.7 percent less than during the same period of last year, and import worth $15.264 billion, which is 21.5 percent more than during the same period of 2018.
