Iran's Bushehr Province to expand exports to Qatar
Tehran, Iran, Oct 19
Iran's southern province of Bushehr can be oriented towards exports to Qatar, said Iran's Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Reza Rahmani.
"The Bushehr Province can specifically work in the field of exports and Bushehr Chamber of Commerce can be responsible for exports to Qatar," said Reza Rahmani, Trend reports citing ILNA.
"Any step towards exports will be supported, as Iran's current export volume to Qatar is not suitable, so this needs to be worked on," he added.
"The situation of the province can improve, and the province's capacities should be utilized," he said.
"One of our priorities and special plans is to develop maritime sector in the province. The province has all the capacities," he indicated.
"The primary data shows that the Bushehr Province has good alumina capacity that can be developed," he added.
The official also emphasized that the country seeks to double aluminum production and expand its mines.
