The Azerbaijani Agency for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises will support entrepreneurs in the development of e-commerce in the country, Orkhan Mammadov, chairman of the board of the agency, said.
Mammadov made the remarks at the second Baku E-Commerce Forum (BEF-2019) on Oct. 21, Trend reports.
“The work is being carried out given the huge potential of e-commerce growth in retail operations, including retail trade, and the ability of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises to take more effective steps in this process,” the chairman added.
Mammadov also stressed that the main task of the agency is to increase the efficiency of the business environment of small and medium-sized enterprises and their regulatory system, and expand the support for entrepreneurs and startups.
