Kazakhstan, Belarus agree on co-op in space exploration

Kazakhstan and Belarus signed an agreement aimed at extension of cooperation in area of space exploration and use for peaceful purposes, Trend reports with reference to Kazakh Ministry of Digital Development, Defense and Aerospace Industry.

The corresponding agreement has been signed between Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Digital Development, Defense and Aerospace Industry and Belarusian National Academy of Sciences.

The agreement oversees the possibility of exchanging satellite images for peaceful purposes, ensuring their intended use in the national interests, in particular, for the development of economy, science, disaster management, as well as socio-economic development of both countries.

This agreement is the logical continuation of previously reached agreements, which were inked in 2017 by the governments of Kazakhstan and Belarus.
