Total income of Uzbekistan’s population amounts to $26.5B

According to preliminary data, from January through September 2019, total population income in Uzbekistan amounted to $26.5 billion; the growth rate reached 22.3 percent compared to the same period last year, Trend reports citing Uzbekistan’s State Statistics Committee.

As of 3Q2019, total per capita income amounted to $790, nominal growth rate was 20 percent, real growth rate was 5.2 percent.

The average per capita nominal aggregate income of the population above the national average was recorded in the city of Tashkent - $1,556, Navoi - $1,125, Bukhara - $993 and Khorezm - $836.

The lowest indicator of the average per capita nominal aggregate income of the population was in the Fergana region - $614.

According to preliminary data as of 3Q2019, the share of labor income in the structure of the total income of the population amounted to 69.5 percent, the nominal growth rate of income compared to the corresponding period of 2018 reached 119.8 percent and contributed to the growth of the nominal total income in 14 percent.

The share of self-employment income in total income by region varies from 16.1 percent (in the city of Tashkent) to 58.8 percent (in the Jizzakh region).

The main share of income from self-employment fell to Samarkand (11.7 percent), Andijan (9.8 percent) and Kashkadarya (9.5 percent) regions.
