Turkmenistan’s State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs cooperates with Italian financial institutions, Trend reports referring to the local Altyn Asyr TV channel.
They include companies such as Intesa Sanpaolo, Monte dei Paschi di Siena and Milan branch of Deutsche Bank.
With their participation, it is planned to finance projects in the Turkmen gas extractive sector, in the country’s medical and textile industries and rail transport for a total of about $144 million, the report said.
