Azerbaijani company to introduce latest technologies in bread production

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Nov. 14

By Matanat Nasibova - Trend:

Brot Baku, an Azerbaijani bread producer, will apply modern German technologies in the process of baking bread, Nigar Abdullayeva, the company’s technologist, told Trend.

“Presently, Brot Baku is developing a plan to expand the varieties and volume of the manufacture of bakery products,” Abdullayeva said. “We will introduce the purchased technologies next year so that the company increases the volume of bakery products in the first half of 2020. Daily production volumes are about 750 pieces of bread products. Next year it is planned to increase their volume to 1,000 pieces. In general, the production capacity of the enterprise allows increasing this indicator by three or more times, but we intend to do this gradually considering consumer demand.”

The technologist noted that the plans of the enterprise include the launch of new production lines.

“This is a medium-term prospect, and it is likely to be realized in the second half of next year,” Abdullayeva said. “In particular, next year it is planned to start baking bread products using French technologies.”

The technologist noted that there is a lot of competition in this market segment.

“The number of bread producers is increasing, while among them there are those who use chemical additives harmful to health in the production process,” Abdullayeva added. “Our bakery products are different, as we use exclusively natural additives in production, meeting the standards and requirements of organic products. The company’s bakery products are in demand and are sold in several stores in Baku.”

The company’s technologist noted that presently the company produces several types of bread, among which the most popular varieties are Borodinsky bread, Zadegan and Kandli.

“Brot Baku is expanding the range of bread varieties by introducing new organic products in the production technology,” Abdullayeva added.
