The National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company has announced the fuel quota for urban and intercity transport, Trend reports referring to Shana.
The intercity taxis will be able to purchase up to 750 liters of gasoline at 15,000 rials (about 0.35 cents) per liter.

If a car travels more than 200 km, additional funds will be paid. |
“The city taxis operating on gasoline will receive 200 liters while dual-fuel taxis will receive 120 liters of gasoline,” the company said.
“The quota for gasoline for dual-fuel taxis will be increased up to 250 liters from November 22,” the company said. “Other vehicles (serving educational institutions, pickups and motorbikes) will receive fuel quotas after the approval of their mileage limit by the Interior Ministry.”
The National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company announced an increase in the gasoline price on Nov. 15. The price of gasoline upon quotas has increased from 10,000 rials (about 0.23 cents) to 15,000 rials (about 0.35 cents). In free sale, the price of gasoline increased up to 30,000 rials (about 0.71 cents). Until now, the price of gasoline per liter in Iran was 10,000 rials.

In accordance with the official exchange rate of the Central Bank of Iran, $1 costs 42,000 rials while the price of $1 on the black market exceeds 113,000 rials.
