Iran's Cabinet of Ministers approves budget for next year

Iranian Cabinet of Ministers has reviewed the budget for next year (from March 21, 2020 through March 21, 2021) and approved it, Trend reports referring to the website of Iranian government.

This decision has been recently made at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers chaired by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

The draft budget approved by the Iranian government will be submitted to the Iranian parliament for final consideration.

After discussion of other issues of the meeting agenda, a decision was made to build a residential building consisting of 1,000 apartments in the Masjed Soleyman county of Iran’s southern Khuzestan province through free financial aid worth up to 120 million rials ($2,850) per apartment.

The Iranian Cabinet of Ministers has also approved the issuance of loans worth 500 billion rials (about $11.9 million) at a five-percent-interest rate for the replacement of hazardous facilities in this county.

The amount of the budget and other details of the budget approved by the Cabinet of Ministers have not been disclosed.
