Mazandaran Province's director general on standards said that 85 percent of the province's export goods meet the standards and can be exported overseas without a license.
“More than 1,250 goods and services in Mazandaran have received the standard license,” Ali Amini said, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Amini added that the standard licenses for production units are valid for a three-year period.
"Standard supervision on the quality of goods and services in Mazandaran is continuous and very strict. This year, the standard license for 104 production units has been revoked and work of 112 production units has been suspended," the official said.
He also noted that people need to pay attention to the goods they purchase and buy those that are standard licensed.
