During the industrial fair and cooperation exchange held in Uzbekistan’s capital of Tashkent, specialists from the Scientific and Production Association for the Production of Rare Metals and Hard Alloys (SPA PRM and HA) considered the possibility of supplying products to over 50 enterprises of Uzbekistan and have concluded agreements worth over $ 1.5 million for 2020, Trend reports citing the press service of the Almalyk MMC.
It is mainly planned to supply carbide products from tungsten carbide and refractory ceramic products that had previously been imported from abroad.
NPO PRM and TS is part of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex and specializes in the development and manufacture of products from hard alloys; it introduced import-substituting and export-oriented products that are manufactured using waste-free technology by using a wide fleet of high-precision grinding machines.
SPA PRM and HA products are successfully used in the manufacture of metal-cutting tools (cutting brazed, interchangeable, boring, etc. plates), metal forming (drawing, forging, stamping, upsetting, etc.), metallurgy and pipe production (plates for deburring, trimming, rolling rolls, for circular saws, etc.), the oil and chemical industries (valves, separators, mechanical seals, etc.).
SPA PRM and HA produces plates for processing wood, drilling tools, as well as solid carbide disk tools (cutters, cutters, slotted, circular knives for paper cutting). In addition, a wide range of special products which is used in almost all branches of industrial production is manufactured there as well.
