Petrol production significantly up in Kazakhstan

Volume of petrol production in Kazakhstan amounted to 4.1 million tons during 11 months of 2019, which is 13.5 percent more than during the same period of last year, Trend reports with reference to the data of Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

According to the information, during the reporting period, extraction of raw oil, natural gas and metal ores increased in the country.

“Manufacturing volume of drinks, oil processing and mechanical engineering increased. At the same time, volume of tobacco products and manufacturing in ferrous metallurgy decreased,” the report said.

The volume of oil extracted in Kazakhstan during 11 months of 2019 amounted to 82.5 million tons, which is 0.2 percent more than during the same period of last year.

Volume of copper ores extraction was nine million tons, which is 12.6 percent more than during 11 months of 2018. In turn, gasoil production was 7.7 million tons (increase of 8 percent) and refined copper manufacturing was 0.4 million tons (increase of 8.1 percent).

In turn, decrease in the volume of flour is observed (3.1 million tons, decrease by 9.8 percent). Decrease is also observed on Portland cement manufacturing by 0.8 percent (total volume equaled 9.4 million tons), and electricity production - by 0.6 percent (total volume equaled 96.7 billion kWh).

Additionally, volume of flat metal production decreased by 25 percent, amounting to 1.9 million tons.
