Azerbaijan's Karmen LLC to launch new line of pasta products

Karmen LLC, an Azerbaijani pasta factory, plans to launch a new production line, a source at the company told Trend.

According to the source, the launch of the new line is scheduled for next year.

"We plan to introduce a new production line during the first two to three months of 2020. This will increase the total production at the enterprise to 75 tons of pasta per day. Today, the factory produces up to 72 tons of pasta daily. In particular, we slightly increased the production of Bucatini spaghetti. At the moment, the daily production of these products amount to over 20 tons. In the next three months we plan to bring this figure to 23-25 ​​tons daily," the source said.

The source noted that in the future it is expected to bring production volume of this type of product to 35,000 tons at the end of the year.

According to the source, this indicator amounted to 30,000 tons last year.

"Currently, the maximum capacity of the factory does not exceed 80 tons of pasta per day. In 2020, we expect to increase this figure to 85-87 tons," the source said.

The company's products have a certificate of conformity issued by the Azerbaijani State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents.

German Dufler equipment for macaroni production, as well as Italian Fava equipment have been installed in the factory for the production of Bucatini spaghetti.

German, Turkish and Italian equipment is used in the factory.
