During the 8th month (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21) of this Iranian year (began March 21, 2019), Iran’s steel exports increased by 83 percent compared to the same month last year, Trend reports referring to the website of the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
Iranian companies exported 673,773 tons of steel in the reporting month, according to IMIDRO.
Khouzestan Steel Company exported 182,483 tons of steel, Mobarakeh Steel Company – 116,103 tons, Esfahan Steel Company – 97,206 tons, South Kaveh Steel Company - 88,500 tons, Hormozgan Steel Company – 80,592 tons, Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company - 47,099 tons, Khorasan Steel Complex Company - 27,713 tons, Saba Steel Company - 24,996 tons, Iran Alloy Steel Company - 7,017 tons and Binab Steel Company - 2,063 tons of steel.
Iran’s big steel companies exported more than 4.7 million tons of steel in eight months of this Iranian year. This is a 15-percent increase over the same period last year.
The Khouzestan Steel Company was the biggest exporter with 1.2 million tons of exported steel, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company with 1 million tons of exported steel and Esfahan Steel Company which exported 779,000 tons of steel.
