Georgia exported 15,283 tons of ferroalloys totaling $16.3 million to Turkey from January through November 2019, Trend reports referring to the Georgian National Statistics Office (Geostat).
On an annualized basis, Georgia reduced the export of ferroalloys by 9,993 tons. Over the same period last year, 25,276 tons of ferroalloys totaling $30.3 million were exported from Georgia to Turkey.
In 11 months of 2019, Georgia exported 72,782 tons of semi-finished products of iron or non-alloy steel worth $27.4 million. Over the same period last year, 46,215 tons of steel semi-finished products totaling $22 million were exported from Georgia to Turkey.
Turkey ranks third in Georgia’s commodity circulation.
For 11 months of 2019, total imports to Georgia from Turkey amounted to $1.4 billion. In turn, Georgia exported goods worth over $184.4 million to Turkey.
The foreign trade turnover of Georgia with Turkey from January to November 2019 exceeded $1.6 billion, which is 14.2 percent of the total trade turnover of Georgia.
The external merchandise trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to $11.5 billion from January through November 2019, 1.4 percent higher year-on-year.
