Over $60M invested in industrial parks in Iran’s Bushehr province

Investments worth 2.7 trillion rials (about $64.2 million) have been made in industrial parks in Iran’s Bushehr province in the nine months (March 21-Nov. 21) of this Iranian year (began March 21, 2019), said Managing Director of Industrial Townships Company of Bushehr Province Mehdi Safavi, Trend reports via IRNA.
Safavi noted that 36 businessmen made these investments.
The investments were made in projects in the field of foodstuffs, various services, chemicals, cellulose, metal and non-metal materials, the director said.
Safavi added that 820 people will be employed if the projects are commissioned.
“Any legal procedures in industrial parks are carried out by the company,” the director said.
Safavi noted that all industrial parks of the province have the necessary infrastructure for investment and production in the field of industry, manufacture and services.
Iran’s Bushehr province has 2,050 industrial facilities, and 1,530 of them are operating.
