The Masalli Brick Factory, the major producer of building materials in Azerbaijan, plans to export building materials to more countries, a source in the factory told Trend.
“The factory plans to export building materials to the CIS countries,” the source said.
"The export potential is planned to be expanded next year,” the source added. “We have established cooperation with partners in Georgia and are considering options for entering new foreign markets. The factory exported several batches of bricks in the volume of 1,200 tons to Georgia this year. The similar volumes are planned to be exported to the new markets.”
“In this regard, the factory is increasing its production capacity and plans to expand the range of the manufactured building materials,” the source said. “At the same time, it is planned to increase the monthly volumes of supplying building materials to Georgia up to 2,000 tons of bricks."
“The daily production volume of bricks is 500 tons,” the source added. "This figure is planned to be brought up to 600 tons and more next year."
The factory operates at full capacity without downtime. The production volumes are mainly based on orders within the country and abroad.
The Masalli Brick Factory has been operating in Azerbaijan since 1983.
