Azerbaijan’s Garadag glass factory plans to increase production of glass containers to 55-60 million units per year, a source at the factory told Trend.
“In the near future, the development of the second production line will be completed, which will significantly increase production volumes,” the source noted. “According to preliminary estimates, the new production line will be launched in late January or early February 2020. The company also plans to increase glass container export volumes to Georgia. Next year it is planned to establish monthly deliveries to this regional market.”
The Garadag glass factory, founded in 2018, is one of the facilities of Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation.
The plant has modern Italian equipment. Most of the raw materials are imported from Russia, Ukraine and Turkey.
