Iran Khodro carmaker produced a total of over 50,044 cars and pickups in the 10th month (Dec. 21-Jan. 20) of this Iranian year (began March 21, 2019), Trend reports referring to the carmaker’s website.
Production more than doubled compared to the same period last Iranian year, when 22,913 cars were produced, according to the report.
Since the beginning of this Iranian year and until the end of the 10th month, a total of 291,915 cars and pickups have been produced, the report said.
On the last day of the 10th month (January 20), the company’s plant produced 2,557 cars, according to the report.
During the ten months, 336,440 cars were sold to customers, reads the report.
By the end of this Iranian year (until March 21, 2020), a total of 380,000 cars are expected to be produced and 410 cars are expected to be sold.
