Iran's mine sector PPI rate drops

TEHRAN, Iran, Jan.29

The recent report by the Statistical Center of Iran indicates the producer price index (PPI) rate in Iran's mine sector during autumn of current Iranian year (started March 21, 2019) has dropped 13.8 percent comparing to summer, Trend reports citing IRNA.

Seasonal PPI rate for coal mining sector was 18.3 percent, and for metal ores - 5.5 percent.

The average price of mineral materials had 37.6-percent increase comparing to last Iranian year (started March 21,2018).

The point-to-point inflation rate for coal mining was 109.1 percent, for metal ores - 33.6 percent, other mine groups - 35.4 percent. Extraction of metal ores and other mine groups has been reduced comparing to summer.

The average changes of producer price index in mine sector before autumn has reached 52 percent that had 7.2 percent drop.
