The Iranian Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare has implemented 322 projects in 31 Iranian provinces, Trend reports referring to the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network (IRINN).
The investments worth over 15 trillion rials (about $358 million) were made in the projects and 12,700 people were employed as part of 322 projects.
Some 183 out of 322 projects accounted for production, 53 - services and 86 - the housing sector.
The investments worth 2.9 trillion rials (about $71.1 million) accounted for production, 580 billion rials (about $13.8 million) - services and 11.5 trillion rials (about $273 million) - the housing sector.
“The total number of people involved in the housing sector, production, services reached 1.7 million,” Iranian Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri said at the event dedicated to the completion of the project.
The ceremony was observed in several provinces through video conference and many Iranian officials, including governors involved in the housing sector, production and services attended the event.
