Iran releases over 3.6 million tons of goods from Hormozgan Customs

TEHRAN, Iran, March 2

Iran has released 3.6 million tons of basic goods from its Hormozgan Customs from the start of current Iranian year (started March 21,2019) until now, Trend reports via the customs website.

Iranian Customs Administration's recent report indicated that the basic goods included meat, rice, vegetable oil, corn, wheat, barley, sugar, tire, paper, soy and beans.

While over 3.6 million tons of goods were released, the releasing process of releasing 63,360 more tons is ongoing.

The major part of imported goods is: 945,000 tons of rice, 799,000 tons of paper, 652,000 tons of sugar and 432,000 tons of vegetable oil.

The report said that about 60 percent of Iran's foreign trade is being done through Hormozgan province.
