Azerbaijan's industrial giant talks export production plans

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 17

Baki Insaat Senaye, one of the largest industrial plants in Azerbaijan, plans to increase current exports of main production types, a source at the plant told Trend on March 17.

According to the source, the products are first of all planned to be exported to Russia and Georgia.

"The export is expected to begin in April of this year, and the export items will mainly be construction fixtures," the source said.

Monthly industrial production volumes at plant amount to nearly 8,000 tons.

“Presently the plant has increased the production volume to 8,500-9,000 tons, and by the end of the year it’s planned to be brought to 10,000 tons or more,” the source added.

Baki Insaat Senaye plant is located in Keshla settlement of Baku. It was founded in 2004. The main profile of the company is producing corners, shifts, nail, and wire from black metal and iron products in quad, round and in other numerous shapes.

The items from black metal are being produced in different variety and dimensions by high tech spreading method. The company was entitled by Azerbaijan State Standardization and Metrology Centre AZS National Certification System with “Certificate of Compliance” and certificate of “International SGS”.
