Azerbaijan's export of fruit and vegetables reached $75.6 million from January through February 2020, decreasing by 0.5 percent compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports with reference to the Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
During the reporting period, export of plastic and its products amounted to $29.9 million, aluminum and its products - $15.5 million, cotton fiber - $30.4 million, chemical products - $13.9 million, electricity - $17.8 million, ferrous metals and its products - $8.3 million, and cotton yarn - $6.3 million.
Export of cotton yarn increased 1.2 times, chemical products - by 9.4 percent, ferrous metals and its products - by 20.5 percent, aluminum and its products - by 12.9 percent, and plastics and its products - decreased by 0.7 percent.
In 2019, non-oil export of Azerbaijan exceeded $1.7 billion, which is $16 million, or 10 percent more compared to 2018.
