According to Arjomandzadeh, the spread of the coronavirus in Iran has negatively affected many trade and economic activities. However, there is an increase in port operations.

The official said that the number of ships carrying more than 1,000 tons of cargo at the port was 16 and this is an increase of 23 percent.

"In general, the import and export of products through the port of Bushehr amounted to 50-50 percent last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020). About 1.5 million tons of products were exported last Iranian year. Two-thirds of it was minerals and cement," he said.
