Iran unveils smart customs service

TEHRAN, Iran, April. 7

The smart customs service for security and trade facilitation was unveiled in Iran with the presence of First Vice President Es'hagh Jahangiri, Trade Minister Reza Rahmani and Finance Minister Farhad Dejpasand, Trend reports citing SHATA.

The inaugurated service seeks to facilitate and increase the security of Iran's international trade.

It is worth noting that within the smart customs plan, the use of intangible controls with UAVs, implementation and development of mobile customs through WE system and the development of the program of authorized economic actors will be implemented.

The service is also meant to develop Iran's smart and dynamic risk management and e-TIR system as well as its cross-border trade single window.
