As of April 1, 2020, the number of registered enterprises and organizations in Uzbekistan reached 440,900, Trendreports citing the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
Thus, the totla number of operating enterprises and organizations in the country has made up 4,153,300 units.
From January through March 2020, 24,100 enterprises and organizations were establishedin Uzbekistan. Of these, 15,700 are limited liability companies, 3,400 are private enterprises, 4,100 are family enterprises, 400 are institutions and 500 are others.
As of 1 April 2020, the number of industrial enterprises and organizations made up 73,700 units, which is a 18.1-percent increase compared to the same of 2020; the number of enterprises and organizations in the construction sector made up 37,500 units, showing an increase by 18.9 percent.
The number of enterprises operating in the trade sector made up 108,600 units and increased by 30 percent compared to the same period of 2020; in the field of living and catering services reached 26,800 units (increase by 23,8 percent); and in the field of information and communication was 8,200 units having increased by 14,3 percent.
