Ukrainian Farmak company is implementing a project in a new pharmaceutical cluster -Tashkent Pharma Park, Trend reports citing the Uzbek media.
As reported earlier, the construction of Tashkent Pharma Park has begun in Zangiota district of Tashkent region.
"Ukrainian Farmak company is one of the foreign partners in the project. Farmak produces more than 260 types of medicines, diabetes supplements and other products. Farmak company is a leader in the production and export of all types of medicines in Ukraine," the report says.
This project will address the issues of import substitution, establishment of production of medicines for the treatment of endocrine system and cardiovascular diseases, training of modern personnel from local specialists in pharmaceutical and engineering fields.
Localization of production of solid dosage forms in the form of pills and capsules meeting European GMP standards will allow producing more than 500 million pills per year.
