Turkmenistan continues to implement use of modern technologies in its agricultural sector, Trend reports with reference to Ahal Durmusu newspaper.
Use of digital technologies in cotton sowing in Turkmenistan’s fields allows to process the soil faster.
In particular a special system transmitting all data on location and movement of equipment to the control center has been installed. The system also shows the use of fuel by vehicles and operating time. If equipment malfunction occurs, it will be reported to the control center.
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov spoke about the importance of implementing the digital system in agriculture at a work meeting on the development of the agricultural sector on March 30, 2020.
This sector plays an important role in the development of Turkmenistan’s economy.
The concept of digital economy development for 2019-2025 was developed by the president of Turkmenistan and was aimed at improving the efficiency of the national economy and social sectors of the country through the extensive use of information technologies.
